Longshots Sports Café opened its doors on October 18, 2012.

Our intent was to bring a fresh, modern take on a sports café to the area, where friends, family, and newcomers can feel welcome.

Our opening was recent, but our roots in the community run deep – dating back to the early 70’s with Trading Cove.

Trading Cove started out as an egg farm, family operated by Joan and John Lahaniatis, with Aunt Mary and Uncle Chris Stevens.

In 1978, they opened a to-go business, selling eggs, poultry, vegetables, grinders, and pizza.

In 1983, they expanded to a 100 – seat family restaurant. In 1988, they once again expanded the restaurant to include a lounge and bar.

In 2012, Longshots opened with the same family atmosphere and pizza recipes!
